American skiing star Lindsey Vonn cheered on the New England Patriots against the Indianapolis Colts and gave a shout-out to Tom Brady during an NFL game in Germany on Sunday.

Vaughn, 39, shared a photo on the field before kickoff in Germany and revealed she was in Europe cheering on the Patriots.

“Patriots, Colts, here we go!! Love the energy here in Frankfort,” she wrote on Instagram. “Tom Brady would be proud to support the Patriots today.”

Brady liked his post, and the seven-time Super Bowl champion cheered on his old team earlier than usual.

Brady played in Germany last year, and his Buccaneers beat the Seattle Seahawks 21-16, a game he loved, saying: “It was one of the best football experiences I’ve ever had.”

“It says a lot about 23 years in the league, a regular season game, and I think the fan turnout was unbelievable. From the moment we stepped on the field, it was exciting.”

Vonn, who won four World Cup titles in her skiing career, wasn’t the only sports star to attend the European competition on Sunday.

Football stars David Alaba, Leon Goretzka, Mats Hummels and Marcel Sabitzer were also in the stands.

Alaba, as a Canadian, may be most familiar with another kind of football, where he joins his Bayern Munich teammate Goretzka.

Meanwhile, Hummels and Sabitzer both play for Munich rivals Borussia Dortmund.

It’s the second game in Germany in as many weeks, following last week’s game between Super Bowl contenders the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins. The Chiefs won 21-14.
