While the business mogul is keen to clear her name once and for all given how the allegations have tarnished her reputation, she is treading carefully given the legal ramifications of the interview.
“Lizzo is being guided by her team on the best course of action,” an insider told the Sun UK.
Given the high-profile nature of the scandal, Lizzo is weighing her options for “lots of people interested in a sit-down interview,” the source said.
They added that the “Truth Hurts” singer is committed to telling the truth, especially since controversial allegations that she created a hostile work environment have already damaged her reputation, even if the allegations have not been proven in court at the time of writing.

Her lawyer, Marty Singer, told DailyMail.com that his client intends to sue Crystal Williams, 24, Noelle Rodriguez, 25, and Arianna Davis, 26.
He explained that the three were “happily cavorting backstage” back in March at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris – just weeks after they claimed Lizzo made them behave inappropriately during a party in Amsterdam’s notorious red light district in February.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, Singer wrote: “As the old saying goes, a picture speaks a thousand words.”
He added: “Photos and videos of plaintiffs Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez happily partying backstage with performers after a topless show at the Crazy Horse Cabaret in Paris speak volumes.”
In a cheeky nod to her ongoing legal troubles, Lizzo captioned a recent photo dump with the cheeky caption, “Bye September ugh b**ch” with a peace sign.
Determined to keep working and deciding who she was going to talk to for a candid interview, Lizzo showed off her flute skills earlier this week during a live performance with Incubus.
“This is NOT a dream coming full circle,” the entrepreneur wrote in the caption of her performance with the rockers for her 12.7 million Instagram followers.
Continuing to post about her night with Incubus, Lizzo shared several hot snaps of herself dressed head-to-toe in black leather with the caption, “MY TIME IS NOT RESTING TODAY.”
