Lizzo is facing legal action from three dancers who allege they were sexually harassed and subjected to a hostile work environment, including being forced to touch naked dancers during a live sex show. In a complaint filed Tuesday in a Los Angeles court, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noel Rodriguez accuse Lizzo and her BIG Grrrl Big Touring Inc. in a wide range of illegal activities. including racial and religious discrimination.
Prosecutors allege that Lizzo pressured dancers to enter a sex show in Amsterdam’s famous red-light district and then pressured them into relationships with the artists. “Lizzo began inviting actors to take turns touching naked artists, catching dildos thrown from the artists’ vaginas, and eating bananas sticking out of the artists’ vaginas,” the lawsuit says. “Lizzo then turned her attention to Ms. Davis and began pressuring her to touch the breasts of one of the naked women performing at the club.”.
After Lizzo herself sang the chant that “prompted” Davis to touch the performer, Davis finally “gained to stop singing”. lThe prosecution also alleges that dance team captain Lizzo imposed his religious beliefs on the plaintiffs and engaged in repeated acts that made them uncomfortable, including comments about their sexual virginity. and simulated oral sex on a banana in front of them. There are no comments from the representatives of the singer yet.
Lizzo weighed the dancers
OURSpecifically, the prosecution alleges that Lizzo “noted” the dancer’s weight gain after performing at South by Southwest.. A particularly heavy accusation against an artist who has made body positivity a central aspect of her personality. According to the indictment, Lizzo and other employees “they never explicitly stated it,” but Davis appeared to “have to explain her weight gain and reveal intimate details of her life in order to keep her job.”
In a statement released to Billboard, the dancers’ lawyer Ron Zambrano paid particular attention to the weight gain allegations. “The amazing nature of how Lizzo and her management team treat their artists seems to go against everything Lizzo publicly stands for, while privately it burdens and belittles her dancers in ways that are not only illegal, but and absolutely demoralizing.”
