Marvel has just released the first new official trailer for the new season of Loki 2, and there’s a lot more to come!
The new season of Loki 2 has officially unveiled the first trailer, giving fans their first glimpse of many new characters, as well as re-imagining familiar faces. These recognizable roles include Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Owen Wilson’s Mobius. Loki and Mobius are the main characters of the series, and Mobius helps the god of mischief navigate this ever-changing world of branching timelines and interconnected events. Although Moebius was born as an agent of the Office of Time Change bordering on robotics, the second half of the first season of Loki shows that Mobius has his own origin story.

Part of this origin seems to be related to jet skis. On the TVA’s Mobius desk are copies of Wake, a magazine with photographs of these watercraft. Moebius explains to Loki that his fascination with jet skis stems from the fact that they are the perfect combination of form and function, and that he dreams of owning one someday.
Will Mobius’ jet ski dream come true in Loki season 2?
The first trailer for the second season of Loki shows Tom Hiddleston’s trickster “time jumping” to different time periods in the past and future. Among the places where he jumps is the Piranha Powersports dealership. In a short shot from Piranha Powersports, Loki is standing in front of two jet skis, looking around in puzzlement.

Given the look on Loki’s face, it’s unlikely that he chose this spot on purpose, but a coincidence could be the spark that ultimately leads Mobius to take the jet ski. Most of the Marvel Disney+ show trailers contain footage from the start of the season. It is possible that this moment comes at the beginning of Loki’s second season and serves as Loki’s reminder of Mobius’ dream, which would then be revisited at the end of the season.
Season 2 of Loki premieres on October 6 on Disney+.
Marvel Studios fan favorite Tom Hiddleston is starring in the second season of Loki, returning as the God of Mischief for another round of time travel mischief, airing on Disney+ on October 6th. Moebius (Owen Wilson) joins Loki again as they both try to keep the timeline intact. After the events of the first season saw her version of Sylvia (Sophia Di Martino) kill the Remainers and unleash the wrath of Kang the Conqueror on the Multiverse, Loki must once again embark on an adventure to prevent reality from collapsing. Loki was last seen in the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania, where he and Moebius followed one of Kang’s mysterious variants. The second season of Loki will continue the story of the Multiverse saga in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
