Meryl Streep dances on set in behind-the-scenes video


After the arrival of the first trailer for Only Murders in the Building 3, work continues on the set of the Hulu series (which in Italy will arrive directly on the Disney + platform). In a fun new video from behind the scenes of the show, between takes, Meryl Streep he performs a dance number to the delight of his colleagues on the set.

In the new video, Season 3 newcomer Meryl Streep is seen practicing with Broadway actor Wesley Taylor while Paul Rudd is an amused spectator. The duo burst into applause as the Academy Award-winning actress hits the right footwork and that just showcases all the behind-the-scenes fun that fans usually don’t get to see.

In the previously revealed teaser, Streep’s character was introduced to us for the first time during a play reading with colleagues while some images from the set showed Selena Gomez in a wedding dress, increasing the curiosity around the next season.

The Only Murders in the Building season 2 finale left fans with a cliffhangerrevealing that next season’s mystery will center on Rudd’s character, Ben Glenroy, a renowned and celebrated star who dies onstage after having backstage friction with Oliver, played by Martin Short. Next season will see our favorite trio grapple with the mystery of his death.

While character and plot details are being kept strictly confidential, it appears from the teasers above that Streep will play an actress from the same theater company involved in the drama.

Accompanying Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, the cast will also include Amy Ryan, Jane Lynch, Andrea Martin, Tina Fey, Ryan Broussard, Jayne Houdyshell and more. In addition to Rudd and Streep, the new season will feature actors like Ashley Park, star of Emily in Parisand Jesse Williams, actor of Grey’s Anatomy. Martin co-created the series with John Robert Hoffmann. The duo also executive produce alongside Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal and Jamie Babbit.

Only Murders in the Building 3 will debut on Hulu next summer.
