Jordan agreed there are similarities between him and Edwards.
Not only does Edwards look like Jordan, but he also possesses the elite scoring and jumping skills that Jordan possessed while playing with the Bulls. The Timberwolves star showed off his core athleticism when he dunked on John Collins against the Utah Jazz.
Collins and Edwards were both injured while dunking. Edwards’ hand collided with Collins’ cheekbone, dislocating his left ring finger. Collins, meanwhile, suffered a head injury.
“I thought I was going to miss the opportunity because I wasn’t close to the basket,” Edwards said, via ESPN. “But somehow God was willing to do it for me. … It gives me chills, man, because I’ve always dreamed of dunking on a guy like that.
