In a way, the quarterback also stole a ring from a wide receiver after leading 28-3 in the Super Bowl late in the 2016 season. Tom Brady and Julio Jones played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022, ultimately becoming No. 12’s final season in the NFL.
Brady won a ring with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, but when Jones finally joined the team in 2022, he was unable to repeat the feat. So the quarterback took the ring away from Jones in two different ways. If things had gone a little differently, the former Falcons superstar might have had two rings. On the contrary, he didn’t.
After joining the Philadelphia Eagles, Jones has the opportunity to follow and potentially contribute to a team that reached the Super Bowl last season. Will the wide receiver finally get a ring in what many believe could be his last breath in the NFL?

Julio Jones played 10 seasons for the Atlanta Falcons. However, there was a noticeable shift in his performance before and after he left the team. Before his departure, the wide receiver had just one season under 600 yards. After leaving, he performed two consecutive shows in 2021 and 2022.
The season is still young, and with the surge in strength, it’s not mathematically impossible for him to have his best season since leaving the Falcons. That said, when you factor in the presence of DeVonta Smith, A.J. Brown, and DeAndre Swift, this would seem nearly impossible to most. Will fans get one last glimpse of the 34-year-old wide receiver?
