After a long series of sold-out shows, the tribute to Ennio Morricone started by the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra continues, taking up lesser-known and very beautiful pages: works such as “Gli Intocbili”, “La Califfa” and “Canone Inverso” are placed alongside songs written by Morricone for artists such as Dulce Pontes, Joan Baez and Mina, presented in an exquisite symphonic version.
The stage alternates between soloists and presenters from Italian theaters and symphonic institutions, such as the cello of Ferdinando Vietti and the trumpet of Stefano Benedetti. Special guests include soprano Anna Delfino, a favorite of European opera audiences, who brings to life the emotion of “Deborah’s Theme” from Once Upon a Time in America, and Cirque du Soleil violinist Attila Simone, who performs the solo of “A Love Affair.”
Actor, director and teacher Andrea Bartolomeo accompanies the audience, voicing the characters and settings.
