film plot: The story begins in Devon, in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Madison Mercier, an expert nature researcher, is on a research trip following the trail of a herd of beluga whales that migrate to a specific area each year. During his absence, his two children, Abby and Luke, will live with their aunt who specially drives from town to take care of them. Since losing her husband in a tragic accident two years ago, Madison has become especially protective of her courageous son. That evening, at Luke’s house, a female polar bear attacks their garage. Local rangers spot Celery and notice that the animal has already been banished from town. The practice is that it will be flown out of the city by helicopter the next day morning and if it comes to the city again, they will have to take action. When the Rangers leave, Luke learns the reason the bear is attempting to break in: her cub is trapped in the garage. Luke takes it inside the house and tries to hide it in the bedroom…

film plot: The film tells the story of Davis Mitchell, a successful New York banker and champion Wall Street investor, who cannot recover from the tragic death of his wife. The woman died in a car accident and, although Davis tries in every way to try to overcome what happened, the grief is creating a hole inside him. When he has to write a complaint to a vending machine company, Davis finds himself sending a series of letters to the company’s customer service, in which he reflects on his failing marriage and even some very personal questions. Also accepts. Davis’ misses attract the attention of customer service manager Karen (Naomi Watts), who forms a strong bond with the widower, which soon leads to dating.
