The singer breaks up with the agent who discovered him when he was only 13 years old.

Justin Bieber will no longer be represented by recording guru Scooter Braun.

Various sources have told Puck News that the Canadian singer and manager have decided to end their collaboration at the expiration of their contract “after several months of discussions”.

Lawyers are reportedly on the job, and the pop star is now looking for “a new agency or a new manager.”

It looks like Bieber wants to revolutionize his team: after canceling his world tour last year, the 29-year-old cut ties with his agency CAA, replaced his lawyer, struck a deal with former Britney Spears business manager Lou Taylor and sold his music catalog for 200 million dollars.

In June 2022, Justin was forced to cancel a series of concerts on his Justice World Tour due to Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which resulted in facial paralysis. He returned for several shows in July; he subsequently postponed some dates again, and then canceled the tour entirely in January: the singer has been out of the limelight ever since.

Scooter discovered Justin on YouTube when he was only 13 years old, making him a worldwide star.

He currently manages other big stars such as Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin and Carly Rae Jepsen.
