Three talent scouts for three different cities. Fabry Fiber, geolier AND Rose the Villainess they will leave Rome, Milan and Naples in search of new talent to introduce to the Italian rap scene. New Stage Rhythm + Flow Italy is a new 8-episode show produced by Fremantle and distributed by Netflix.the broadcast will begin in 2024 and with a prize fund of 100,000 euros.
The selected artists will have to compete in freestyle, rap battles and original songwriting. During these trials, the three outstanding judges will be supported by the main figures of the Italian urban scene. The names of possible guests are not yet known, but their opinion will be decisive in determining the outcome of the competition.
The format appeared in our country after its launch in America in 2019. The judges were Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and Tip Tee Harris. Then the program was also re-adapted in the French version.
New Stage Rhythm + Flow Italy it is the first “unscripted”, i.e. the first original Netflix production that cannot be categorized as a television series, film or documentary adapted for Italy. The first platform project in this regard was Summer job, a reality/dating show—perhaps a little underhanded—in which rich guys spent their first summer as workers. However, this time around, the theme and strong personalities of the judges will certainly contribute to the success of the program, given the recent record-breaking triumphs of the three contestants.
The Italian adaptation was written by Dino Clemente, Matteo Lenardon, Paola Papa, Antonio Vicaretti. And Chiara Guerra, Vincenzo Majorana, Marina Pagliari, directed by Alessio Musi.
