Nicole Kidman revealed that she personally chose the super mini skirt for the cover of Vanity Fair in 2022.
Nicole Kidman was featured in a conversation with director Baz Luhrmann in the June issue of Vogue Australia. In a conversation with director Elvis, Kidman focused on Hollywood cover of Vanity Fair in 2022 which saw her main character wearing a Miu Miu super miniskirt that quickly went viral.
The actress says she went to the set and initially chose a different dress, but then she noticed Miu Miu’s look and asked if she could wear it:“I thought, ‘No, no! I like it. Can I wear this?. The question that took designer Kathy Grand by surprise:“He said, ‘Do you want to wear this?’ and I said, ‘Put this on?’ Please let me wear this.”.
This image was picked up by such stars as Zendaya, Emma Corrin and Hailey Bieber. Designed by Miuccia Prada, the two-piece suit that Kidman is on the cover of was first shown in Milan last October. In addition to Nicole Kidman, Idris Elba, Penelope Cruz, Kristen Stewart and Benedict Cumberbatch were on the cover of the 2022 Hollywood issue.
Kidman starred in 2022 in The Northerner, the latest film directed by Robert Eggers to hit the screens.
