No Hard Feelings – Plot and cast of the comedy with Jennifer Lawrence

Maddie, a young and attractive girl with no particular goals in life, decides to accept a particular job advertisement. In order not to lose her childhood home, Maddie will indeed decide to accept the request of two overprotective and obsessive parentslooking for someone willing to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son Percy – about to leave for college. As often happens in these cases, a partly sincere friendship will be born between Maddie and Percy, which will give life to hilarious and out of the box moments – and, of course, at a high “hot” rate.

To interpret the protagonist is, as mentioned, Jennifer Lawrence, who has chosen two diametrically opposed projects to return to the scene after the break due to the birth of her first child. In fact, the actress has also recently appeared in Causeways, Apple TV+ drama nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor – Brian Tyree Henry. To lend body and voice to the two parents of Percy are instead Laura Benanti – actress specializing in the musical genre, already in the cast of Do you wanna Dance? And Tick, Tick….Boom! – And Matthew Broderick, the face of many American comedies. They then complete the cast Natalie Morales and Mark Duplass. No Hard Feelings is written and directed by Gene Stupnitsky – the script was made in collaboration with John Phillips –former director of Those bad boys – coming-of-age film with Jacob Tremblay – and screenwriter by Year One And Bad Teacher – A bad teacher, comedy with Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel. Announced last July, the film was then shot starting in September 2022, in various locations in Nassau County (New York). Jennifer Lawrence – involved in the project also as producer – is therefore ready to conquer the public once again, with a project that – judging by the trailer – promises a fast-paced and incredibly entertaining story. So all that remains is to wait new updatesto find out the Italian release date of No Hard Feelings.
