NSYNC has reunited for the first time in 10 years. Yesterday, Justin, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick took the stage together, the same stage they last performed on in 2013. The boy band reunited last night at the Prudential Center in Newark. at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards present the award for best pop song (Best Pop).
“We just wanted to say thank you to MTV and especially to all of you,” Joey Fatone said as fans cheered enthusiastically. “Thank you so much to each of you for always supporting your favorite music artists!”
NSYNC Presents Taylor Swift with Best Pop Award. Justin Timberlake called her “unstoppable” from the stage.. The singer, clearly amazed by the group’s reunion on stage, gave all five members of *NSYNC a big hug.

NSYNC’s MTV VMA reunion is no coincidence
The relationship between NSYNC and the MTV VMAs has always been very close. In August 2013, Justin Timberlake received a Video Vanguard Award and performed a 12-song medley spanning his entire career. Two NSYNC hits also made the set list. Bye Bye Bye AND Girlfriend which Justin performed at the reunion with the other band members.
Since then, the night before last, the quintet only reunited in 2018 to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.. Additionally, in 2019, the Timberlake-less band accompanied Ariana Grande during her surprise performance at Coachella.
