Fashion month has ended, but the fashion world continues to amaze us with spectacular off-calendar fashion shows. After the Versace show in Los Angeles it’s time for BOSSwho presented the collection Spring/Summer 2023 at Herald Plaza in Miami, Florida. The fashion show was a veritable parade of stars: from the veteran Naomi Campbell to Candice Swanepole, from Amber Valletta to the tiktoker Khaby Lame, now the face of the brand. But the real star of the show was Pamela Andersonwho is enjoying a veritable career renaissance.
The BOSS Spring/Summer 2023 show
Six months behind the canonical fashion calendar, which features summer in September and winter in February, BOSS presented the Spring/Summer 2023 collection with a waterfront catwalk. We return to the timeless elegance of tailored suits, but in a fluid and lightened, almost liquid version: soft trench coats, overlapping oversized waistcoats, jackets with slits on the back and flowing skirts. The rarefied palette starts from the egg shell, to progressively move towards sand, beige, gray and brown, up to the classic black. Water was an integral part of the scenography: the models paraded next to a pool with gushing fountains. They hadn’t come to terms with it though bad weather: the strong wind moved the jets of water ‘spraying’ the models.

The BOSS show was opened by Pamela Anderson, feisty and self-confident in a sand-colored suit and her hair up. The former star of Baywatch has returned to the spotlight following the release of a documentary in which she tells the story first-hand, including the sex tape scandal. Since then, she has been a fixture at the fashion shows: after appearing in a maxi hat at Jacquemus, she walked the catwalk for BOSS, demonstrating timeless appeal.

Pamela Anderson was in excellent company: she also walked the catwalk for BOSS Naomi Campbellwrapped in a black low-cut dress, not at all bothered by the wind that has bent most of the models.

Big surprise for the runway debut of Law Roach, the legendary stylist of Zendaya and Ariana Grande, who only the day before had said goodbye forever to the world of fashion. The tiktoker Khaby Lame also appeared in the varied and stellar cast, DJ Khaled and supermodel Boscono.

The stars in the front row were no less, from Demi Lovato with a sheer white trench coat a Camila Morronethe actress of the TV series Daisy Jones And The Six. Once again Boss has chosen a different formula (he presented the summer collection as soon as it arrives in stores, focusing on see now-buy now) and an included casting, arousing the enthusiasm of the press and the public.
