Path to AI Qualification Paris 2024 Olympic Games continues until the 2023 World Sport Climbing Championships.
ABOUT 800 athletes from 60 countries will compete at the “PostfFinance Arena” in Berne, in Switzerland. Competitions will be held from 1 to 12 August. During these 12 days, 8 medals with 10 Olympic chances be assigned in a combined format and in speed.
The event includes three disciplines: speed, bouldering and leads. Following the completion of the single events, 20 athletes of each gender will compete in the new Olympic Bouldering and Leadership (B&L) format.
The sport climbing competition format in Paris will change from its Olympic debut in Tokyo 2020. While Japan had one set of medals for each gender, Paris will have two. Instead of competing in one event that combines bouldering, lead and speed, athletes will compete in two events: in speed and bouldering and leadership combined. Four gold medals will be awarded at Le Bourget, the Olympic sport climbing center north of Paris.
