With this performance, Nacua became the fourth player in NFL history to score such statistics in his first career game.
However, Nakua surpassed his debut in Week 2. Against the San Francisco 49ers, wide receiver Puka Nacua had an impressive 15 receptions for a total of 147 yards. Nakua led the team in receptions, with 20 passes directed at him. He also carried the ball twice for four yards.
In a recent Instagram Live video, he received recognition from King James for his historic performance. “They call him Puka Luka, Luka Puka… Puka Doncic, the rookie receiver who has the most receptions by a rookie in NFL history in three games,” James affirmed.
