Shortly after Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury, fans came up with a crazy idea for the New York Jets’ next quarterback.
Even though Tom Brady retired for the second time this offseason, his name is still in the conversation as a potential replacement for Rodgers. The internet was immediately flooded with photos of Brady in a Jets uniform.
The thought of Brady wearing Jets colors is enough to make New England Patriots fans squirm. That includes former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was disgusted by the image of Brady wearing green and white.
“Gross. The poop was green. It looked like poop in there,” Gronkowski told “Up & Adams” host Kay Adams. “If Tom Brady went to the Jets, I don’t think I’d be able to talk to him anymore.

Fortunately for Gronk, Brady’s flight to New York didn’t happen. The Jets “will not inquire” about the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s availability, and he “made it clear to those close to him” that he I don’t play football anymore.
The Jets are still hoping to add a veteran quarterback to the roster, but head coach Robert Saleh has made it clear that 2021 No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson is “the guy” for the future.This is undoubtedly good news for the Patriots, and it completely changes the landscape of the suddenly open AFC East.
