Scarlet Witch, whose real name is Wanda Maximoff, has become one of the most beloved characters in the Marvel universe. Played by Elizabeth Olsen, Wanda has in fact appeared in six MCU films, and was the protagonist together with Vision (Paul Bettany) of the miniseries WandaVision, released on Disney+. For her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff, Elizabeth Olsen received several accolades, including a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Limited Series.
The series, created by Jac Schaefferhas received 23 total award nominations emmyswinning awards for Best Costume Design in a Fantasy Series, Best Production Design in a Half-Hour Program, and Best Original Song.

We last saw Wanda Maximoff was in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Here, Wanda apparently didn’t end well, but the film left several questions open. What fans of Scarlet Witch and the Marvel universe are wondering is whether we will see her again. The question arises, since the series was announced Agatha: Coven of Chaos, spin-off of Wanda Vision (here some curiosities). Interviewed by Deadline on the future of her character, Elizabeth Olsen said: “I think I’ll be back.”

Scarlet Witch will therefore be featured in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, although the actress did not specify whether the character she plays will appear in the history or just in the form of flashback.

Kathryn Hahn plays Agatha Harkkness in the spin-off
There is still little information on the spin-off of Wanda Vision. What is certain is that the protagonist will be Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn. At the end of Wanda Vision, Wanda Maximoff discovers that Agnes, her neighbor, is actually the witch Agatha Harkness, who wants to take over her powers. The two engage in a fight that will lead Wanda to become the very powerful Scarlet Witch. It will therefore be interesting to find out what will happen in this spin-off.
Filming of Agatha: Coven of Chaos they started in January 2023 and will last until April. The series will be available to stream on Disney+ starting in late 2023 or early 2024, and we can’t wait to see Elizabeth Olsen again as Scarlet Witch!
