You have a lot to say about Shaddell Sanders. “He’s humble” is not one of them.
The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback has made millions from zero deals, and he happily shows off the money in the form of diamond chains, a $70,000 watch and a Rolls-Royce he doesn’t know how to park .
But on the field, he is football. He loves his game, just like two NFL greats, Tom Brady and Michael Vick.
“I can play like Brady, but I can also extend the game, and if not, it’s like Vick,” Sanders told reporters complicated. “So it depends. The funny thing is, every time a situation comes up in the game, they say, ‘Hey, tonight you have to play Vick. Tonight you have to be Mike Vick. So, that’s what we let It’s time for our legs to get involved.”
Basically, I can do it all. Just ask him.
“I say it’s a mixture of a lot of great quarterbacks, they just have different skill sets. So that’s why I feel like what I bring to the table is special,” Sanders said. “I want to stay in the pocket, I want to throw the ball like Tom, but sometimes those opportunities don’t exist.”
Unfortunately for the scalpers, there haven’t been many opportunities lately. The offensive line was terrible – allowing Sanders to constantly run for his life outside the pocket and take hits. There are no quick fixes, Colorado is just trying to survive.
2023 is a rocky 2023 for Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes.
Colorado has dropped to 4-5 on the season, surprising the college football world at the start of the season but now clearly in trouble. The Buffs have won just one of their last six games.
Despite the rollercoaster of ups and downs, Sanders’ performance was still impressive – passing for 2,882 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just three interceptions, while also adding three rushing touchdowns.
But when your team keeps going L, no one wants to see your quarterback flashing his watch and posting links to merchandise at halftime. It’s this attitude that pisses off some fans.
Scheidel didn’t care.
“I mean, I enjoy it. I enjoy the hatred,” he said. “I like them to be angry. If they’re not talking about what you’re doing, then you’re not relevant. You’re not doing anything.
“So knowing that people hate you, that means you’re doing the right thing. Because if someone’s not saying anything negative about you or anything, then you’re not doing the right thing in life.”
Sanders claims he has “Brady mode,” “Vic mode” and “legend mode.”
Regardless of the format, Scheidel, you still need two wins to be bowl eligible. You need to play three games to do this.
