Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian recently shared how he creates last-minute pancake art for his daughter Olympia before her early morning tennis practice.
The Reddit co-founder and investor regularly posts videos of his creative and colorful creations, showcasing his skills and making his daughter smile.
Ohanian often takes requests from Olympia, who asks about her favorite characters from movies, TV shows, video games and books. Some of her past creations include Spider-Gwen and Olympia herself riding her doll Adora.
On Sunday, September 24, Ohanian posted a video on Twitter (now X). The video shows Ohanian making a simple pancake with Olympia’s name written on it in orange and yellow batter. In the video, he flips the pancake over and shows his daughter the final product.
“I was rushing @OlympiaOhanian to an unusually early tennis practice today and the big dog wasn’t ready for the energy on Sunday morning so Jr will have to settle for her name today. She’s still very So happy to see it 🥺 she asked me for ‘tree syrup’ because I spoiled her with the good stuff,” Ohanian wrote on X.
Ohanian started making pancakes for Olympia a few years ago, and he quickly realized she liked seeing cool shapes on the breakfast table. He then began creating artistic pancakes based on various images from everyday life, including Serena Williams’ face.

Whenever Ohanian appeared on television, he would ask Olympia to give him a word or phrase to say on the air. Then, whatever the subject was, he would try to sneak it into the interview.
Ohanian’s latest challenge was to say “taco ice cream” in an interview about Instacart, the grocery delivery service he’s invested in. He managed to do this and incorporated it into his answer to Instacart’s convenience question.
On Wednesday, September 20, Ohanian shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) in which he used the term “taco Ice Cream” during an interview.
“Now that she’s old enough I play a little game with @OlympiaOhanian when I’m on TV – I ask her to say something for her on air so she knows I’m thinking of her. Today is” Taco Ice “Cream” is so easy, jr! ” Ohanian wrote on X.
Serena Williams recently announced the birth of her second daughter, Adira River Ohanian, in August.
