He revealed that he didn’t get permission from exes Megan Fox or Vanessa Marcil before discussing co-parenting on the show, but later reached out to Megan to let her know. During the podcast episode, Green talked about his blended family and co-parenting experience with Megan Fox, highlighting their friendship for the well-being of their children. He later wrote to Megan Fox: “I told her in a message, I just said, ‘Hey, just so you know, I discussed our co-parenting on our podcast.’ I’m really sorry if this wasn’t what you wanted.” Sharna Burgess, his fiancee and co-host of the podcast, also praised their great relationship and the importance of prioritizing healthy interactions. As for choosing topics for the podcast, Brian said, “We’re not in the business of shaming people. We’re all together, the three of us, trying to take as much responsibility for our lives as possible, so we’re not just sitting here trying to point fingers and talk about our personal stories. We’re trying to make our stories collective stories.”
Greene compared his co-parenting experience with Foxx to his more challenging experience with Marcil, citing obstacles and difficulties in the latter relationship. He denied Marcil’s claims that he cut ties with his son Cassius while recovering from vertigo, stressing the importance of Vanessa’s support during this time.
He added: “When we need to, we communicate very well, we’re open to things, we don’t take things personally. That’s my goal, and I think that’s her goal as well, to make sure the kids are in as healthy an environment as possible.” Sharna Burgess chimed in, adding: “We’re lucky because we have a great relationship. I think what’s really important is that we make it a priority so we can connect and have a great time.”
