Sziget 2023, everything you need to know

Also this year, Budapest will host Sziget, which arrived in 2023 in its 29th edition. From August 10 to 15, Obuda Island will host the biggest festival in Europe and promises to be even more spectacular than usual with updated stages, upgraded audiovisual systems and big comebacks. Among them is also the art of freedom, which will fill the island with unusual works of art and installations.

Camping

As always, there will be the opportunity to camp, in fact Sziget is one of the few major festivals where base camping has always been included in the ticket price. – both for 6 and 3 days, as well as for day tickets if you have at least 2 days in a row. And for those who want even more comfort, they can choose the luxury campsites (Siesta and Park Camping) or glamping in Sziget Ville or Podpadopolis.

To get to main stage of Sziget, as usual, will be one of the most important names globally. The headliners will be Florence + the Machine (August 10) then Imagine Dragons, David
Guetta, Mumford & Sons. On August 14, two headliners will take the stage: Lord and Macklemore, followed by one of the biggest stars of our time, Billie Eilish.
who will perform in Hungary for the first time. And again Sam Fender, Foals, Yungblud, Niall Horan, Son Mieux, Mimi Webb, Arlo Parks, AJR, Caroline Polachek, girl in red, Carson Coma, Halott Pénz and Easy Life.

giant tent MasterCard FreeDome gathers alternative music artists present at Sziget. Among other things, Bonobo, Loyle Karner, Ben Behmer and Jamie XX. Also with them are Moderat and M83, Nothing but Thieves and the punk band Amyl And The Sniffers.

EDM epicenter in Sziget is there again this year Party Arenawhere different brands of international parties will be presented every day. Q-Dance, Awakenings, Rampage, Next Level, Higher Ground, Be Massive and Born of Music Addiction. Also with Adam Beyer, Rainier Sonneveld, Diplo and The Tale Of Us.

Bringing together the best of alternative electronic music, TicketExchange Colosseum by Sziget returns with a redesigned look and state-of-the-art sound systems, with over 60 artists taking part over the course of the 6-day festival: Sven Wat, I Hate Models, Jeff Mills, DJ Tennis, Mall Grab and Kobosil, Just to name a few.

Italian artists, from Lazza to Vinicio Capossela

This year, an important Italian representation will also land in Sziget, led by Lazza, which will take to nothing less than the main stage on August 14 (he is the third Italian artist to do so in almost thirty years, only Giovanotti in 2006 and Subsonica in 2010 before him). In addition to him, there will be Vinicio Capossela, Mezzosangue, the French Saints, Extraliscio, Meganoidi, Studio Murena, Savana Funk, Dumbo Get Mad, The Big Ska Swindle and Palmaria.
