During a skit that had a talk show vibe, Dionne Warwick (Ego Nwodim) asked Harry Styles (Timothée Chalamet) about the meaning of his hit song. Watermelon sugar.

The avowedly conservative Dionne Warwick seemed shocked by the description until Chalamet clarified to Styles: “But, well, about a woman.” This seemed to calm Ego Nwodim’s Dionne Warwick to some extent.
The whole conversation was pretty hilarious and ended up being the highlight of Timothée Chalamet’s SNL episode. The skit went on for a while, with different SNL cast members portraying different new generation artists like Billie Eilish, a parody version of Timothée Chalamet, and even Machine Gun Kelly. played by none other than Pete Davidson.
