It’s hard to argue with classic models in gorgeous outfits. That said, last week at Michael Rubin’s Reform Union Casino Night, Brady had this solid gold, ice-covered version of the Rolex GMT Master II on his wrist, serial number 126755 SARU. Although the GMT-Master began life as a purely tool watch for Pan Am pilots as they navigated the jet-age skies, it has since become much more of a luxury product and status symbol. The 40mm 18mm watch best reflects this fact. – Carat rose gold case, pavé diamond dial and matching bracelet, and “Pepsi” bezel composed of sapphires and rubies.Despite its COSC certification, the automatic movement can still record multiple time zones, but that’s not the point; instead, this is a “FU” watch that says “FU” loudly
