The Internet laughed at the new wax figure of Dwayne Johnson

Fans have ridiculed Dwayne Johnson’s new wax figure located in Paris, feeling it was missing something.

A wax figure of the actor and former professional wrestler was unveiled at the Grevin Museum in Paris, France on Monday, October 16. The sculpture resembles the actor with his muscular physique, tattoos and shaved head.

Fans lined up to take photos with the wax figure, who posed with his arms crossed and wore a blue collared shirt and navy blue pants. After the opening, the museum posted photos of the sculpture on its official Instagram page. Fans quickly took to the comments section to express their concerns that something was wrong with the figure.

“Yes! That’s not The Rock, maybe his stuntman lol,” one person said, while another wrote: “I’m so sorry guys but The Rock looks like he got food poisoning.”

A commentator criticized the museum for the unacceptable quality of the wax figure. “Not one of your best guys – given the quality of the rest of the museum, there’s something wrong with this sculpture,” they commented.

Jumanji the actor isn’t the only one to receive a wax figure this year. Back in July, Madame Tussauds unveiled seven new wax figures of Harry Styles at its international offices.

The seven new statues are located around the world, including one at Madame Tussauds in London, New York, Hollywood, Amsterdam, Berlin, Singapore and Sydney. Each one features Styles in one of his most memorable outfits.

In other Dwayne Johnson news, John Cena recently said he apologized to the former wrestler after previously criticizing his move from WWE to an acting career.

“I went down the wrong path,” Cena said. “I violated his trust and made accusations about his views that I knew nothing about.

“And at heart, I was a fan. I wanted to bring The Rock back (to WWE). “I wanted to do anything to bring The Rock back, but I did it wrong.”
