DETROIT (AP) — D’Angelo Russell scored a season-high 35 points, Anthony Davis scored 28 and LeBron James scored as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Pistons 133-107 on Wednesday. 25 points, setting a new record for the team’s 15th consecutive defeat.
James, who scored a career-high 44 points in the loss to Philadelphia, looked relaxed after warming up, perhaps knowing it would be an ideal game to recover.

After the first quarter, the Lakers led 38-24 and shot 60% while Detroit shot 36%.
Although there were three quarters left, facing a team with a questionable offense, poor defense and a 2-16 record, this result seemed inevitable.
Detroit broke franchise records of 14 losses in 2021-22, 1993-04 and 1979-80.
Detroit’s Cade Cunningham scored 15 points and reserve Isaiah Livers had 14 points, while Isaiah Stewart and rookie Osar Thompson each had 12 points.
