The Tower: A New Fantasy Is Coming with Bella Thorne

Mermaids seem to be back in fashion these days. After the release of The Little Mermaid in the game version, the director Adam Segal is working on a brand new fantasy film starring one of these enigmatic sea creatures. Here’s everything we know.

Although there is no very detailed information about this new release yet, it would seem that at the center of The Tower is the story of a mermaid locked in a tower in a small southern town and forgotten there for many years. We don’t have any other plot information, but we can assume that the main characters of this movie will be Bella Thorne AND Jack Kilmer.

Thorne, an American actress and singer, in addition to being known in our country for her relationship with the Italian singer Benjamin Mascolo, is known for the films The Nanny (2017), Time Out (2021-2022) and Midnight Sun. Midnight Sun (2018). Jack Kilmer, son of actor Val Kilmer, instead starred in Palo Alto (2013) and most recently in two episodes of Willow (2022-2023). On their side will also Cam Gigandet, already seen in OC (2005-2006) and Twilight (2008) and Chris Mullinaxfeatured in The Chariot (2022).

To date, The Tower doesn’t have a release date yet.however, we do know that the production began before the actors’ strike. This means that, fortunately, the film will not tolerate a stoppage. Adam Segal himself spoke about this, supporting those who today stand up for their rights, and promising that as soon as the film is completed, the actors of The Tower will join the cause.
