The new TV series was co-created and co-directed by Sam Levinson (Euphoria, HBO), Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Reza Fahim, starring Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye and Lily-Rose Depp, also in the song artwork. The Idol will debut at Cannes Film Festival in the “Official Selection Out of Competition” and will debut on Sunday 4 June on HBO, it will also be available in streaming on Max. In Italy it will be available from 5 June exclusively on Sky Atlantic and on demand.
