The crazy season of throwing things at concerts continues. The last target in chronological order is Drake. The rapper was performing at the Chase Center in San Francisco last Friday when a “fan” threw a copy of his poetry collection at him. Headlines Ruin Everything: Stream of Consciousness.
Drake caught the book before he could hit it. “Everything went well for you, because I have good reflexes,” the artist said on stage. “If you winced, I’d kick your ass.”

This isn’t the first time someone in the audience has thrown an object at Drake: it’s happened before with phones and e-cigarettes. It also happened to Cardi B (who resisted), Bebe Rexha (who got hit in the eye by a smartphone), P!nk (someone threw her mother’s ashes on stage), Harry Styles and others.
