This time they point to a downtown bar – the most important news in Corrientes

The annoying noise problem does not stop, this time in the case of a well-known bar located in the macro center of the capital, open from Tuesday to Sunday, surrounded by houses and apartment buildings, whose residents are affected by noise almost every day, exposed. Loud music.
The store is located at 1,600 Calle Rivadavia, on the border of the Centro and Libertad neighborhoods. A franchise of a famous national brewery, patrons can drink, eat and listen to music, sometimes with a DJ and live band.
One victim, Soledad Sosa, said in a statement on LT7 radio that it was precisely music that had the greatest impact on the neighbourhood.
«Since opening in 2021, we have been plagued by annoying noise. I lived next to the bar with my parents, posted on the party wall. First, a very similar place was run under another name, then closed and another pub reopened with some modifications and we have been plagued by loud music ever since. The house shook us because they used a baffle that was put on the side of our house,” the woman said.
“Last night, for example, there was a live band playing and the noise could be heard a few blocks away. I walked to Moreno and Spain and I could hear it even there. We couldn’t possibly stay home on the weekends,” he described. On nights without a live band, coexistence becomes more bearable because there is less noise, he added.
The neighbor, almost crying in pain, said: “Last night (Sunday) my parents couldn’t even hear the TV in the living room of the house. No more knowing what to do because we’ve talked to the locals, in good ways, in bad ways, in every way you can imagine, but with no solution.
Regarding the behavior of the bar managers, he mentioned: “They told us they would do everything they could to not be intrusive; they let us know when they were going to do a show like last night’s. Yesterday afternoon, I went to Costanera for a while to clear my head. When I got word that a band was going to play, and I already knew which band it was, my legs started shaking and I didn’t want to go home. I knew coming back would be torture, whether it was an hour or two.
Another neighbor, 78, who lives across the street from the store, also complained about the situation. «I live opposite and I have spoken several times with the person in charge of the music issue. We are 78 years old and we want to rest. Last night was the biggest disaster, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm we didn’t even hear a message,” he said.
