Praise for Chalamet’s Killers of the Flower Moon
The director’s last film. Killers of the Flower Moonis now in theaters and was highly praised by the actor:
I was shocked, it’s so addictive. Shocked because despite its duration, this will take you to the end. Dynamic, all the characters seem to belong to that era, especially Leo (DiCaprio). I liked it: it was light and muscular, much more maneuverable than I could have imagined.
Scorsese then elaborates:

Continuing to talk about the film, Chalamet focuses on its “spirit soul“, an aspect that we find in many of the director’s films:
In many of my films, for example Killers of the Flower MoonThe level of corruption is high because society is not based on morality or any spirituality as human nature should be. Without leadership or even dialogue about morality, everything becomes pure corruption, which then leads to genocide. I find it interesting how corruption permeates every aspect of your life and you can learn to live with it if you don’t resist.
The actor then notes how this is especially noticeable in DiCaprio’s character: “a complex figure, who, however, is treated delicately” So “the viewer is not directed to have a certain feeling towards him“. Scorsese agrees and takes inspiration from this to tell a joke:

Killers of the Flower Moon it also reunites the director with Robert De Niro, with whom he has collaborated several times. Two sacred monsters of cinema who already knew each other at a very young age:
