Victoria Beckham as Dorian Gray: «You will never age again» she was told after a laser treatment. It’s possible?

Victoria Beckham49, underwent a laser treatment for the skin after which it was said that it will never age again. Yes you read right, the statement suggests that after this treatment Victoria has managed to stop time, the aging process of her in Dorian Gray style. Beckham posted a video on Instagram of herself with Dr Ghavami, of @GPSAesthetics in Beverly Hills, who she went to for the laser treatment, which costs more than $2,000 on average, if you use the laser ablative (which removes the thin outer layer of skin) and about 1,000 euros for the non-ablative (which does not remove the outer layer of skin), according to the latest indications from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Victoria’s post caption reads: “Our skin is our largest organ, so it’s important that we take care of it as much as possible! Earlier this week I had an amazing laser treatment with @DrGhavami @GPSAesthetics, and got back to him today to learn more about how to keep my skin healthy, nourished and radiant.” And coincidentally, at the end of the video Victoria promotes her line of skin products, which is why she was attacked by many users on Twitter.

But what aroused the most interest in the video was Dr. Ashkan Ghavami, whose clients include, Kim Kardashian, Iggy Azaela, Amber Rose and Tory Spelling, who states that laser treatment not only “turns back the clock”, but does so by “stopping the aging process”. TO Victoria Beckham in fact he says: “You will literally never age again and you are good to go». Obviously combined with the right skin care, physical activity, hydration and healthy eating, all habits to which Victoria is particularly accustomed.

Given the super claim of laser treatment, also called skins resurfacing, promoted in this video we tried to understand more by consulting a center where the Image Regenerative Clinic is also performed in Italy, in Milan. On the clinic’s website it is described as follows: «It is one of the aesthetic medicine procedures for skin rejuvenation, which can be done in prevention. After a resurfacing, the skin appears smoother, more compact, uniform in color and improved in imperfections, even acne scars. The laser light exfoliates the layers of the epidermis up to the superficial dermis. This controlled “damage” allows the complete skin renewal, attenuating, often until their complete disappearance, superficial wrinkles and scars, including those from acne. It is also used in the rejuvenation of hands and décolleté».

No mention, however, on his alleged power to stop time. For this we have heard the prof. Carlo Tremolada, scientific director of the Image Regenerative Clinic in Milan and plastic and aesthetic surgeon for an opinion.
«The laser treatment Victoria Beckham talks about undoubtedly improves the skin (especially if it is done well, this is certainly true) but say that the skin treated with laser will no longer age, although there is actually a rejuvenation of the elastic fibers and collagen with a laser, It’s not absolutely true. Unfortunately, there is nothing that completely blocks the natural aging process. After a skin resurfacing procedure, however, we start again from a better situation, therefore aging will only be delayed, which in any case is not a small thing. If a laser treatment, then it is combined with lipogems, i.e. a transplant of microfractured adipose tissue to increase vascular density and consequently tissue regeneration, there will be two advantages. It swells much less in the post phase, as lipogems has a strong anti-inflammatory effect with accelerated postoperative recovery. There is also a greater synergy with the long-term regenerative antiaging effect on elastic fibers and collagen».
