Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney will star in a new, acclaimed rom-com called Anyone But You, which has been confirmed for release later this year.
The film has already received a lot of buzz due to reports of Sydney’s on-screen chemistry with her co-star Glen Powell, with people comparing their chemistry to Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey’s How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. There are also some really cool photos of Glen jumping out of a helicopter in a James Bond-style tuxedo, which got us seriously interested in this movie.

What is the movie “Anyone But You” about?
According to Variety, the official synopsis reads: “A modernization of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.” When college sworn enemies reunite years after graduation at a wedding, they pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons. But by pretending, they actually fall in love.”
Who is on the cast and crew of Anyone But You?
Will Gluck, director of “Easy Student” (perhaps Emma Stone’s swan song) and “Friends with Benefits” (Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis), directs the rom-com.
Joining Glen and Sydney in the cast are Dermot Mulroney, Alexandra Shipp, Rachel Griffiths and Michelle Hurd.
Additional cast members include GaTa, Bryan Brown, Darren Barnett, Hadley Robinson and Joe Davidson.
What has the cast said about Anyone But You so far?
At CinemaCon, both leads poked fun at the film’s core premise: “two people who hate each other.”
“Sydney plays a character (who is) a total nightmare,” Glen said, with Sydney calling him an “asshole.” She continued, “What better place for a nightmare and a jerk than on the other side of the world in the most romantic setting imaginable?”
