She recently returned from France after the prestigious Paris Fashion Week. She recently spoke about fame and how she views herself as a social activist and pop singer, with a number of singles to her credit.

Gomez spoke candidly about her position in the industry in terms of fame and recognition. “I’m not unattainable,” she began. “I look at someone like Beyoncé and I’m amazed. My jaw drops. Every part of her body is flawless and it is so beautiful. I went to her show and was shocked. But I’m not like that, and that’s okay.”

She has played numerous roles over her 20-year career, including Alex Russo in the hit Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place and Mabel Mora in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building. She and Rema recently shared the Best Afrobeats award at the 2023 VMAs for their hit song Calm Down. These were just some of the highlights; the list is endless. She prefers to be recognizable and sincere rather than successful.
“I’m me and I’m a little silly, but I also like to be sexy and fun and I also want to have a good time that I have here,” she says.
Gomez likes to stay approachable and feel at ease with who she is.
She said about Adele: “We need goddesses like Beyoncé and Adele. But I’m just happy to be your best friend.” In 2019, Gomez founded Rare Beauty, which she then took online in 2020.
