You’ve never seen such short nails on Kylie Jenner – see photo

If you had to choose between long or short nails for life, which would you choose? Without any guesswork, I would usually say that Kylie Jenner would opt for a long manicure. But everything has changed in the last 18 months. Now I have a good feeling she’ll disagree with me and instead opt for quick tips based on her latest set: a bright red square-shaped set that will be right on our fall nail board.

On October 8, Los Angeles-based nail artist Zola Ganzorigt shared several photos of Kylie Jenner’s nails in a selection of celebrity manicure photos she’s recently created. The first two photos were dedicated to Kylie’s bright red manicure.

The look was simple yet chic. Zola gave the reality star’s nails a square shape that barely extended past her fingertips. The artist then painted each nail with Pla gel polish in the shade Messy Business, which she noted in the caption. Unfortunately, it’s only available in Canada, but Dior Vernis Nail Polish in 999 Rouge and Rimmel 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish in Double Decker Red are a close color match and are available in the UK.

We rarely caught Kylie without long nails in the past. But since April 2022, she’s been rocking shorter manicures more and more, especially when she combined two of the biggest nail trends—milk bath nails and glazed donut manicures—into one square nail manicure.

In fact, the last time we saw her with long nails this year was in July, when she shared a photo that featured her nude almond manicure.

But after that, she settled on short nails in nude, soft pink, milky white or bright red shades, like the manicure above. Considering her recent manicure, it’s safe to assume that the classic bright red hue is one of her favorite nail polish colors.

Now we’re wondering what other red nail polishes she loves, if any, and if she’ll be diving into darker red shades as winter approaches.
