cultural trips

Tourists and non-tourists can visit the Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum – Palatine Hill, the Museum of Illusions. As well as the Domitian Stadium, the Colonna Gallery, the Spada Gallery and the Borghese Gallery.

Emily

Don’t miss the screenings under the stars: Meet at 21.15 at the Arena Garbatella for “Emily”, a biopic about the life of the poet and writer Emily Brontë. Starring the brilliant Emma McKee, this is the directorial debut of Anglo-Australian Frances O’Connor.

In Largo Alessandrina Ravizza, along Via di Monte Verde, the 2022 romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise (George Clooney and Julia Roberts) will be screened at 9:30 pm.

Dance evenings

Ferragosto Eve, Monday, August 14, dedicated to music: it starts at 21:00 with “HoStress”, which will present on stage the most famous songs of international rock and pop music; at 22:30 “Bluesman latino”, a meeting of Italian blues and Latin soul. August 15 at 21:00 Laura Kibel with the song “Go where your foot leads.” At 22:30 “Open air dance floor”, Daria Greco and Salvo Lombardo.

Procession at sea

In Fiumicino, the traditional procession to the sea. Concerts and cabarets are also planned: every evening at 21:30 in Via Torre Clementina, along the port of the canal. The most anticipated show is Max Giusti: “All About Max”, scheduled for Monday evening, August 14th.

Performances in the squares

Anzio has shows and music for every taste. On Monday, August 14, 10 talented local artists will perform on the stage of Piazza Garibaldi. At the turn of August 14 and 15, at 23:30, a spectacular fireworks display is planned in the port of Anzio.
