Britney Spears bought her dog a Gucci bikini.

The 41-year-old pop superstar acquired a Maltese dog she named Snow following the breakdown of her marriage to Sam Asghari earlier this year and took to social media to reveal that while designer brands have never approached her herself, she has been treating herself your canine companion.

She wrote on Instagram: “Snow’s first bikini from Gucci… even has a skirt!!! I have never had anything from Gucci in my life… all my friends always had everything branded!!! Am I weird because eating this was supposed to make me admire??? I’ve never been attracted to famous brands… but I’ll buy this for my kids.”

Earlier this year it was reported that the Gimme More hitmaker was concerned that Asghari would try to take their dogs. TMZ reported that the couple decided that their Doberman, Porsha, who he bought for Spears in October 2021 as a protection dog, would be his, and she would keep their Australian shepherd, Sawyer, a Yorkie named Hannah, and two other small dogs.

Captioning the clip of her new canine companion, Spears wrote on Instagram: “Introducing Snow…a new family edition…it’s her world and we’re just living in it!!!”

In the video, she said: “Let me show them how tiny you are. Say hi to Snow!

Asghari cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the couple’s separation and demanded that Spears pay alimony and his attorneys’ fees.

Shortly after the news broke, Spears announced the split to her 42.1 million Instagram followers, writing: “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together.

“Six years is a long time to be with someone so I’m a little shocked but… I’m not here to explain why because honestly it’s none of anyone’s business!!!”
