Cannes advertising leaderboard, Bulgari and Paolo Sorrentino among the most viewed advertising videos in the world

Cannes watching the Lions in two weeks YouTube has released its ranking of the 10 most popular video ads globally from June 2022 to May 2023.

If in first place comes the activation of Netflix on the occasion of the launch of the series ‘Wednesday’, in which the hand is seen walking through the streets of New York to the amazement of passers-by (39 million views), in eighth place also Italy Paolo Bulgari present with film ‘Unexpected Wonders’ directed by and starring Sorrentino Anne Hathaway and Zendaya (9.3 million views).

“Through its wealth of creative formats, the Cannes Ad Leaderboard shows us how YouTube doesn’t frame brands in pre-determined formats. “There is incredible diversity in cultural and generational representation as well as production style and storytelling approach,” said Sunny Kwok, creative director of Creative Works US.
