Dame Helen Mirren showed off a messy hairstyle during the L’Oreal spring/summer 2024 show during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.
The 78-year-old actress looked sensational in a sweeping silver dress with an elegantly cinched waist at the Walk Your Worth show in the French capital.
Sweeping the floor, the sleeves of the clothes reached right down to the ground, and the clothes sparkled under the bright light as the star walked.
But it was Mrs. Helen’s voluminous hair that was noticeably different from this event.
Her locks were curled and styled so that they extended on either side of her head, with the locks remaining on her shoulders.
The star usually wears her hair much shorter: Dame Helen was pictured at the screening of Golda in London on Thursday with her hair styled in a bob.
Her bleached blonde hair was neatly parted on the side and straightened to shoulder height.
Dame Helen was joined on the L’Oreal catwalk by Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis and Elle Fanning near the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Andie MacDowell and Bollywood legend Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also welcomed guests.
Representatives of famous brands gathered in the French capital for the Walk Your Worth show – an inspiring celebration of femininity.
Each of the brand’s ambassadors walked the runway alongside other guests, including Marie Bauchet, Cindy Bruna, Camila Cabello, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Luma Grote, Liya Kebede, Katherine Langford, Aja Naomi King, Soo Joo Park and Iseult.
Showcasing her slender physique in an elegant silver dress, Kendall, 27, was inevitably the center of attention early on in the event.
Meanwhile, actress Elle, 25, turned heads in a plunging gold evening gown with sheer details.
Bucking the trend, Four Weddings and a Funeral star Andy opted for a stylish black PVC coat instead of a matching bralette and high-waisted PVC trousers.
The 65-year-old actress completed her runway look with chunky silver heels, while dramatic makeup brought even more attention to her delicate facial proportions.
Indian actress Aishwarya, 49, attended Sunday’s event and was dressed appropriately for the occasion: an ornate gold dress with cascading overlays.
Eva Longoria, 48, was also on hand to add some glamor to the runway, and the Latin star looked stunning in a layered sheer dress as she joined her fellow ambassadors.
Apparently in high spirits, the Desperate Housewives actress waved to guests during her latest promotional appearance on behalf of the cosmetics brand.
Making a surprise appearance at the event, Rochelle Humes walked the runway in a form-fitting sequin dress with a thigh-high slit.
The 34-year-old This Morning co-host completed the look with a pair of black strappy heels, while her hair was parted and pulled back from her face.
Confirming the Eiffel Tower event, in a September 12 press release, a L’Oreal Paris spokesperson said: “In the heart of the world’s fashion capital, the iconic Iron Lady esplanade will set the stage for a spectacular tribute to women’s empowerment. “The first major event ever to be held at this monumental site.”
This is the sixth Walk Your Worth show to take place at Paris Fashion Week, of which L’Oreal is an official partner, since 2017.
The spokeswoman added that the event “will celebrate sisterhood as well as the synergy between contemporary beauty knowledge and fashion.”
