Gerard Piqué, the reply to the song of Shakira: “I want my children to be well”
“As parents we have a responsibility to protect our children,” the footballer said in an interview about his ex-partner
Gerard Pique spoke for the first time about breakup with Shakira and in particular of the song published in January by the former partner dedicated to the end of their love story.
“Obviously I’ve heard the song but I don’t feel like talking about it. We have a responsibility, that of being parents who have to try to protect our children“said the footballer, host of the radio show El Mon of RAC1, talking about the two sons had with the singer: Milan10 years, e Sasha8.
“Everyone makes the decisions they deem appropriate. I just want my kids to be okay. I’ve always had a very close relationship with them, and I want them to be involved in things that make them happy,” added Piqué.
Talking about his relationship with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, Piqué limited himself to saying: “I’m fine, I’m happy”. In February, however, the footballer had spoken for the first time about her relationship with the model: “I go to the shops with her and she buys for me, I am her puppet”, Piqué had said with irony.
