Tom Brady can’t seem to shake Eli Manning — even in retirement

“Do I think the NFL is scripted?” Brady asked. “Do you think I’m actually going to follow the playbook that made me lose Peyton’s brother Eli twice in the Super Bowl?”
But the Giants fired back at Brady with their own tweet on X: “Seems like a perfect play to us.”
Brady won six Super Bowls as quarterback for the New England Patriots.
But Manning was stripped of two more championship rings as he and the Giants defeated the Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII and 21-17 in Super Bowl XLVI.
Manning earned Super Bowl MVP honors in both games.
When Brady left the Patriots to join the Buccaneers, he still won a seventh title and led Tampa Bay to a Super Bowl LV victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, 31-9.
Brady officially retired in February, three years after Manning retired.
Perhaps Brady’s video digs were in response to ManningCast’s search for a third host.

Brady doesn’t appear until nearly two minutes into the video, which shows him in a waiting room with a dog next to him. Brady turns to the dog and says, “You’ve been waiting here for a long time, too?”
Then the lights went out on Brady and his canine companion.
Seconds later, Brady announced the news: “No, I didn’t get the Manning Custer job. “I think I’m going to come back and play football again. “
While you can never say never to Brady, the 46-year-old legend appears ready to move on with his life, holding a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders and dating supermodel Irina Shay Grams dating and preparing for a career as an announcer on Fox Sports.
