Kevin PedrazaThe famous singer from Jaén has died after being involved in a traffic accident in Chiclayo. On Tuesday, 15 August, he died a few hours after entering Lambayeque Regional Hospital. The young musician has his own sanjuanera cumbia band: Kevin Pedraza and real passion.
The motorcycle accident forced him to be taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU); however, the 19-year-old’s death was confirmed at around 7pm.
The doctor on duty diagnosed him serious head injury, multisystem trauma, aspiration pneumonia, wrist and tibial fractures. The case has been brought to the attention of the representative of the Ministry of Public Affairs, Paola Reupo Mechan of the Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of the Second Province of Chiclayo.
His departure drew mixed reactions, mainly from his colleagues from Cajamarca and his countrymen. They remembered Pedraza’s unique voice, which immortalized songs like “La carpela”, “La poisonous”, “El que nunca te olvida”.

According to police, the singer was traveling on his motorcycle when it crashed into the hopper of a truck at the intersection of Pan Am Norte Boulevard and Venezuela Boulevard. The musician is understood to be returning home after it was over. Take classes at a private university.
