Mayfair Witches announced the second season of the series created by Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford – based on the trilogy by Novels Lives of the Mayfair Witches By Anne Rice.
The series sees the protagonist Alexandra Daddario as neurosurgeon Rowan Fielding who discovers his true identity: the heir to a dynasty of powerful witches haunted by an evil spirit.

The first season finale left many questions waiting to be developed. On the other hand, the first season finale also gave away numerous revelations about the protagonist characters, of which we don’t make spoilers. However, the protagonist played by Alexandra Daddario acts with a new awareness. Exec producer Esta Spalding told TVLine about this new awareness, “She was in denial all season, going through the whole battle to get rid of Lasher. When she faced Lasher and got her revenge at the end of episode 7, she started to experience her being a witch, but I don’t think she really knew what that meant until she went on this wild journey and came out on the other side again saying, ‘I want this power.’ This is really the beginning of the story of this witch of Mayfair”.
Just announced, the advances on the second season they talk about a predictable sequel related to the plot of the second book of the Rice trilogy. However the plot will focus on Rowan, on whose shoulders the narration of this new announced chapter will weigh, thanks to an original change of perspective.
