Mothers’ Instinct is the new thriller film in production. The plot is set in the early 1960s, with Alice (Jessica Chastain) and Celine (Anne Hathaway) who live a traditional lifestyle. They have successful husbands, and children of the same age. The perfect harmony of life is suddenly shattered after a tragic accident. Guilt, suspicion and paranoia merge: the same hedge that separates their garden acts as a watershed for this new misunderstanding. Thus a psychological battle is established, which reveals their brotherly bond.

Anne Hathaway recently starred in She Came to Me and Eileen. Jessica Chastain worked at Armageddon Time – The time of the apocalypse and in the TV series George & Tammy, for which he won the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2023. The cast also includes Josh Charles (the TV series We Own This City) and Anders Danielsen Lie (On Bergman Island). Directed by Benoît Delhomme, making his debut behind the camera after being director of photography. The writer Sarah Conradt (50 States of Fright) adapted the screenplay, based on the novel Over the hedge (Derrière la haine) of 2012, written by Barbara Abel. The feature film is a remake of the Belgian film Duels (2018) by director Olivier Masset-Depasse.
