Both need no introduction as they occupy a good place in the Hollywood scene. But the roles received in the drama are extremely borderline. Emily Blunt, for example, plays single mother Lisa, who, in order to take care of her daughter, is determined to take any step without thinking too much about it. To do this, he accepts a job at a pharmaceutical startup that is on the verge of collapse, and it is here that he meets Pete, a character played by Chris Evans.

In Pain Hustlers, Lisa and Pete work together to bring their company’s painkillers to market and end up embroiled in a criminal conspiracy. As the story progresses, Lisa realizes what a dubious choice she made. And as her daughter’s health deteriorates, she becomes increasingly aware of the damage the company she works for is wreaking havoc. Based on the volume of the same name Evans Hughestelling about the real situation with the pharmaceutical company Insys and its business practices, a film by the director David Yates will be streaming on Netflix after the premiere in Toronto International Film Festival. The composition of the film “Pain Hustlers” also includes Andy Garcia, Jay Duplass, Brian D’Arcy James, Catherine O’Hara AND Chloe Coleman. As for the story being told, David Yates (director, best known for the franchise Harry Potter) disclosed Entertainment Weekly:
I’ve always been fascinated by salespeople, what they do, and the morale of the pharmaceutical industry when it comes to making money. The elements of the story are obviously in line with what Evan Hughes documented in his book, but we created Lisa Drake, we created her relationship with Phoebe’s daughter, just so the audience could connect with one character and take us through the story.
