Scarlett Johansson will no longer be in any film

After years and years of playing Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Scarlett Johansson Says She’s ‘Closed’ with the character and with the movies of the universe. The actress confessed it during an interview on Gwyneth Paltrow’s podcast.

Fans of the actress and the Marvel Cinematic Universe will remember the lawsuit Johansson had brought against Disney a few years ago for a dispute concerning himself Black Widowalarm then subsided with the passage of time.

If his character’s death in Avengers: Endgame it had seemed far from satisfactory for the fans, who until the end have hoped for a return of the character, the matter now seems closed and hopes zeroed. The witness passed to the character played by Florence Pugh therefore seems to be definitive and the “original” Black Widow a distant memory.

Scarlett Johansson looks back on 10 years in the Marvel Universe, from Iron Man 2 in 2010 onwards, with satisfaction:

The chapter is over. I did everything I had to do. Even coming back and playing a character again and again, over the span of a decade, it’s a truly unique experience.

The actress now seems determined to devote herself to other jobs, despite her “recent” attack on Hollywood, in which she declared that she had felt hypersexualized since she was a child:

I was objectified for a long time, I didn’t receive suitable offers, I received roles suitable for thirty-five to forty-year-old women. It wasn’t a source of pride for me, on the contrary, at some point it became something I wanted to fight.
