Shakira is about to make history at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Shakira will make history at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on September 12 by becoming the first South American artist to win a Video Vanguard Award.. The Colombian-born superstar will be the second Latin American artist to win this prestigious award.
