March 22, 2024 will come to the cinema Snow White, Disney’s new live-action film, a director-directed remake of the 1937 film of the same name Mark Webb. They will be there to interpret it Rachel Zegler as the main character princess and Gal Gadot the witch Grimhilda. The film will feature several variations on the original plot, such as the absence of the canonical dwarfs in the plot (here are images of creatures that will replace them). These changes are causing surprise on the web. Project last attacked David Hand, son of the eponymous father who directed the original film in 1937. To talk to Telegraphthe man said:
It’s a completely different project and I strongly disagree with the idea and I know my dad and Walt wouldn’t mind. I don’t agree with these brand new ideas. (Disney) is trying to make something new out of what used to be a huge success. Their ideals are so radicalized now. The stories change, the thought processes of the characters change. They do “awakening” things and I don’t support them. To be honest, I find it a little insulting (what) they could have done to some of these classic films… There is no respect for what Disney did and what my father did… I think he and Walt will roll over in their graves.
Same Zegler in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, he spoke about criticism of snow Whiteexplaining the need to do so “politically correct”.
People joke that we’ll be politically correct Snow White. And yes, it is, because it was necessary, — said the actress. This is an 85 year old cartoon and our version is a modern story about a young woman who has a function beyond “Someday my prince will come”.
