Payne, one of the lead singers of the English boy band, was holidaying with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy in Lake Como when he fell ill and had to be transferred to hospital.

The singer’s mother’s concerns come as he had to cancel his first solo tour last month due to the same kidney problem, which will see him spend at least a week in hospital. “We’re all very concerned about this,” but we just need to move on.
